Cryopak - Cold chain and temperature-controlled packaging

Cryopak, a TCP company, designs and manufactures complete cold chain packaging solutions as well as temperature and humidity monitoring devices, and is specialised in the field of temperature controlled packages.

With an international presence since 2001, Cryopak has become one of the cold chain leaders in the world to generate around $20 million of sales last year.

From needs assessment to package qualification, Cryopak handles your packaging projects with one paramount goal: to allow you to benefit from our expertise to maintain the integrity of your products by proposing custom-made packaging solutions.

Our materials and processes cover the full spectrum from fabricating insulated shippers, containers or cool elements (eutectic gels and panels) to manufacturing phase change materials and temperature monitors.

Cryopak does everything possible to bring to its customers solutions that guarantee perfectly controlled, adapted and economical cold logistics.

Created in 2008, Cryopak's European subsidiary has been set up in Maromme, near Rouen in Normandy, a town easily accessible from Paris. Our site designs and manufactures controlled-temperature packaging solutions. Our 8,000m2 manufacturing site complies with all the quality standards required by our customers, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector.

A team of 20 people is dedicated to the manufacturing of insulated packages, boxes, containers and pallets made in polyurethane, VIP panels or polystyrene. They are also dedicated to the fabrication and the wrapping of cool elements such as gels packs (eutectic gels or refrigerants), ice packs (eutectic panels or blocks of ice) and F.I.B (flexible ice blankets).

Our engineering office has a metrology laboratory composed by climatic chambers that allows us to test different solutions proposed to our customers, qualify our packages, and calibrate temperature and humidity data loggers that are traceable to industry standards such as NIST & COFRAC. Cryopak has two cold chambers of 600m2 to guarantee an optimal level of service: this complete cold maintenance service allows us to deliver products that are ready to use for your shipments.

Cryopak also performs temperature and humidity mapping services for qualifying storage areas, trailers and validating shipping lanes. Our expertise, from protocol writing to final data analysis and reporting, helps our clients to analyse their systems quickly and without interrupting operations. With locations across the US, Canada and Europe, and with partners across Africa, the Middle-East and Asia, we have the ability to perform your projects wherever they happen to be.

Cryopak specialises in package-testing services for pharmaceutical companies. These testing services evaluate the strength and integrity characteristics of a packaging system. The 'before' and 'after' effects on a package are simulated using the anticipated distribution and storage conditions the system may undergo. This combination of simulation and evaluation is used by packaging professionals to validate package compliance with ASTM, ISO, ISTA and other accepted industry standards.
