Last week, Dividella AG, a Medipak Systems company, welcomed guests to a two-day pharma event in its new premises in
Grabs, Switzerland.
As part of the extension of its capacity, Dividella has leased additional premises in the adjacent business park. A new assembly shop and new offices for the Engineering Department have already been set up in at Werdenstrasse 70, CH-9472 Grabs. Before the new premises are finally established over the next few weeks, last week on 7 and 8 June, they provided a prestigious venue for the two-day Medipak Systems Open House,in which all the Medipak Systems companies participated, along with numerous coexhibitors.180 guests from all over the world accepted the invitation and in addition to specialist presentations experienced what Swiss hospitality means.
100% pharma: much more than just packaging
Under the banner "Onwards + Upwards", the conference program included some really inspiring presentations by invited speakers, as well as specialist presentations on current trends in the pharma industry such as digitization, small lot solutions and OEE optimization. Guests learned what extreme mountain climbing has to do with project planning and teamwork, and what effect digitization is having on our future, both official and unofficial.
The exhibition in the new assembly shop presented guests with a broad spectrum of solutions and technologies for production, inspection and packaging of pharmaceutical products.
The hosts Dividella exhibited the NeoTop x, a TopLoading cartoner designed specifically for small and medium-sized lots, equipped with a variable manual insertion module and a range of safety features. Mediseal presented its CP400-P3200 blister line with integrated OCS checkweigher and an end-of-line stretch wrapper from pester pac automation. Also worth seeing: the DS12+, a tablet sorting machine from Seidenader, and the V90+ semiautomatic inspection machine. Rondo presented various packaging solutions, for example its Tamper Evidence Solution and Smart Packaging with integrated NFC features.
Seidenader`’s Blackbox, in which it was possible to dive directly into the heart of Seidenader`s machines via virtual reality, was a great success. Werum IT Solutions presented the latest version of its PAS-X 3.1.8 MES (Manufacturing Execution System) along with the PAS-X KPI and Track&Trace Solutions. The exhibition was completed by partners from the industry, including pester pac automation, Pago, OCS Checkweighers, Robatech, Micron, M.A.S. (Material Analytischer Service), Metsä Bard, Videojet Technologies and Ypsomed.
Visitors were able to see beyond the packaging process and acquire an insight into solutions along the entire value creation chain in the pharma industry.
